Thursday Throwdown- Bad Boys

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for a throwdown! And this week it’s all about the bad boys.

TvLine.com featured a bad boy tournament a while back and that inspired us. We thought we’d use their bracket but choose our own winners. We ended with the same result, though reached it a bit differently. But upon reviewing this bad boy bracket, we decided a few awesome and sexy boys were missing. And since we didn’t know (or hadn’t watched the shows) featuring some of TVLine’s bad boys, we thought we’d just scrap it and draw up our own.

In order for there to be fairness (our version of fairness anyway) we decided to come up with a few criteria for helping us pick our ultimate bad boy. We devised five categories and awarded a point to the winner in every category each round. The boy with the most points won. Well… mostly. (I said our version of fairness.)

The categories were: Sexiest, Funniest, Biggest Player (womanizer), Biggest Jerk, Good/Bad Ratio

The good/bad ratio weighs how “good” the character is in relation to how “bad” they are. Bad things include but are not limited to: stealing, drug dealing, fabricating elaborate lies and murdering people. Good things might include: being a loving boyfriend/husband, taking care of children and protecting others by killing zombies. The bad boy closest to 50/50 was awarded the point.

In case of a tie, the win went to the bad boy who wears the most leather. (Leather is totally bad and sexy!)

Yes, Chris Keller got more points. Yes, Pacey still won. This one had to be an override of the system. Chris Keller is funnier and a bigger jerk and thinks he is a bigger ladies’ man but Pacey just had to win this one. Courtney never watched Dawson’s Creek so she agreed to forfeit her votes this round.

The same goes for Oliver and Jess. Being the hero of the story brought Oliver’s overall score down. He’s sexier for sure, but Jess is a bit more “bad”.

Though Damon and Logan tied on final round points, we ultimately decided Damon should be the winner. He does wear more leather after all.

So we still ended with the same result as TVLine, but we included our favorite bad boys and that makes ours better. ;)

And really, they’re all winners because… bad boys.
