Half-o-Ween

What happens when the urge to have a party strikes you? Like say, a Halloween party? But it’s nowhere near Halloween.  Well, if you are conveniently watching Nickelodeon at the time and there are just enough people around to justify calling it a party, steal an idea from iCarly!

One Friday night, we were watching iCarly with our friend Kayla (Yes, we are in our mid-twenties and still watch Nickelodeon and Disney shows. What of it?) when the urge to party was just too great. Carly, Freddie and Sam decided to have a Half-o-Ween party. So we thought, why can’t we have a Half-o-Ween party?

We pulled out wigs and sheets and whatever we could find to make costumes. As I happened to have a long leather coat (courtesy of Goodwill) I decided my second costume should be Spike. Along with the theme, Kayla dressed as Angel and Courtney as Dean Winchester.

We even convinced my dad, brother and his friends to partake in the nonsense. They had more fun than they were willing to admit, I think.

So next time it’s not Halloween but you want to have a party celebrating the holiday anyway, just do it.
